Atletico Madrid look at Giacomo Raspadori as Enzo Millot pursuit stutters
Simeone casts transfer net wider after Enzo Millot links fade.
With the transfer window entering its final phase, Atlético Madrid are said to have shifted focus from Stuttgart’s Enzo Millot to Napoli forward Giacomo Raspadori. Negotiations with Millot are understood to have faltered amid interest from Premier League clubs.
After heavy spending this summer—estimated at €159 million—Atlético still seek a versatile attacker to ease the workload on Julian Álvarez. Raspadori, with 12 goals in recent seasons, fits the profile and may cost €30 million plus bonuses.
“Millot is weighing other offers. Raspadori is now Plan B and offers proven La Liga quality.”
Atleti have already recouped funds via sales such as Santiago Mourino and Samuel Lino. The club remains committed to bolstering the squad before transfer deadline.
