Milan push for Vlahovic as Juventus weigh sale of Serbian striker

AC Milan have reopened negotiations with Juventus for Dusan Vlahovic, who may leave Turin this summer amid high wages and tactical reshuffle.

Sources close to both clubs confirm that talks are ongoing over a potential transfer of the 24-year-old striker. Juventus are open to selling Vlahovic for the right price, with a valuation in the region of €20–25 million, while Milan are exploring loan-plus-obligation or structured payment options.

The Serbian international, who joined Juve from Fiorentina in 2022 for €81.6 million, has scored 36 goals in 93 appearances. Despite a strong run in late 2024, he faces competition and rotation under new manager Thiago Motta. Milan, meanwhile, see him as a possible centrepiece in their post-Giroud attacking plan.

Vlahovic’s €12 million net salary poses a challenge, but his camp is reportedly open to a reduced deal for long-term playing time. Milan sporting director Geoffrey Moncada is said to be personally involved in talks, with Stefano Pioli giving his approval.

“He’s one of the most complete forwards in the league. We’ll evaluate opportunities that benefit all sides.”

With preseason winding down, Milan are eager to finalize attacking reinforcements before the Serie A season begins. Juventus, in turn, may use Vlahovic’s exit to fund midfield additions.
